Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Viewable ("Viewable," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to getviewable.com and the Viewable app.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, business name, and the phone number you choose for approval texts.
- Google Business Profile data: when you connect Google, we access the business locations you choose, their reviews, your existing replies, and profile details such as description, categories, attributes and hours. See "Google user data" below.
- Brand voice settings: the tone, sign-off and preferences you give us, and the past replies we learn from.
- Billing information: our payment processor, Stripe, handles your card. We receive only limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and billing status. We never store full card numbers.
- Usage information: basic logs such as sign-in times, pages used, device and browser type, and IP address, used to run and secure the service.
- Waitlist and contact forms: the email address and any message you send us.
How we use information
- To provide the service: syncing reviews, drafting replies, sending them to you for approval, and posting the replies you approve.
- To send alerts, weekly digests, and service and billing messages.
- To provide support, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
- To improve Viewable using aggregated, de-identified usage data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Google user data
When you connect your Google account, Viewable requests permission to manage your Business Profile. We use this access only to:
- read the reviews, replies and profile details for the locations you select;
- post review replies you have approved, or replies you have set to auto-post; and
- make profile updates you have approved.
Viewable's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you use in Viewable.
- We do not sell Google user data, or use or transfer it for advertising.
- We do not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI or machine learning models.
- People at Viewable do not read your Google data unless you give permission (for example, for support), it is needed for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
You can disconnect Google at any time from your account settings or from your Google Account's security page. Disconnecting stops all access, and we delete the stored Google data as described under "Retention."
AI-drafted replies
Viewable uses an AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to draft replies. To write a draft, we send the review text, your business name, and your brand voice settings to that service. The provider processes this data only to return the draft to us, under terms that do not allow them to train their models on it.

We share information only with providers that help us run Viewable, under contracts that limit their use of it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business sale or merger, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Text messages
If you turn on text approvals, we send review drafts and alerts to the number you provide. Message frequency depends on how many reviews you receive. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Your phone number is used only for these messages and is never sold or shared for marketing.
Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. If you cancel or disconnect Google, we delete stored Google data within 30 days, and other account data within 90 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for access tokens, and limited internal access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights, such as knowing what we collect and not being discriminated against for using your rights. We will respond within the time required by law.
Children
Viewable is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make material changes, we will update this page and email account holders before the changes take effect.
